Students over the age of 9 may choose to audition for the Terpsichore Dance Company, which has been specifically designed for those dancers who excel beyond the realms of a recreational dance program, and those who may be looking forward to the opportunity of a career in the dance field. There are currently four facets to our multi-award winning dance company, Mini Company (7-10), Junior Company(11-12), Teen Company(13-15) and Senior Company (16+). Terpsichore dancers attend multiple dance competitions and conventions per dance year, and enjoy learning from the experiences of competitions, performances, workshops and guest instructors. Our current Terpsichore Dance Company members are, Senior members, RACHEL BLOOM and REBECCA VIEIRA. Senior Members Emeritus, Eliza Dyer, Carly Fielding, Nicole Nozzi. Teen Members, SASHA ANDERSON, COREY FIELDING, MOLLY GAGNON, JULIA IANNUCCI, MADELYN MCCADDEN, K. ALEXIS ROBBINS, RACHEL PLUMMER, PAIGE TOOLAN. LOOK AT THESE SPECIAL AWARDS!! In December 2007, our Dance Centre was recognized with the “STUDIO CLASS ACT AWARD” which is basically the BEST award we’ve ever received!! This award is given to a studio that promotes themselves in a professional and tasteful manner when choosing music, choreography and costuming for their dancers, in addition to conducting themselves in a positive manner throughout the weekend! We’re so proud! BUT that’s not all! Our dancers we’re also recognized with the “BACKSTAGE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD” (again)!! This award is given to the studio whose dancers are supportive of EVERYONE backstage .. not just their own group! They were recognized for conducting themselves in a positive manner and always being ready on time! Congratulations girls … you set a great example for other dancers to follow!! We’re so proud of everyone! WEST COAST DANCE EXPLOSION! Coming in February 2009!
