TERPSICHORE DANCE COMPANY
Students over the age of 9 may choose to audition for the Terpsichore Dance Company, which has been specifically designed for those dancers who excel beyond the realms of a recreational dance program, as well as those who may be looking forward to the opportunity of a career in the dance field. There are currently three facets to our multi-award winning dance company, Junior (9-12), Teen (13-15) and Senior (16+). Terpsichore dancers attend multiple dance competitions and conventions per dance year, and enjoy learning from the experiences of competitions, performances, workshops and guest instructors.
Our current Terpsichore Dance Company members are SASHA ANDERSON, ASHLEY CROMACK, DAYLE EMBLETON, COREY FIELDING, MOLLY GAGNON, MADELINE GODFREY, GWEN HARRIS, MARIA IANNOTTI, JULIA IANNUCCI, SARAH KENNEDY, ALICE LEBLANC, HANNAH LEBLANC, MADELYN MCCADDEN, KAYLEAH PENSALFINI, ISABELLA PICCIRILLI, RACHEL PLUMMER (Teen Team Captain), LAUREN RANNEY, OLIVIA RICH, ALEXIS ROBBINS, BRYNNE SAWYER, PAIGE TOOLAN and CHRISTIANA TUCKER.
THE DANCERS IN THE TERPSICHORE DANCE COMPANY ARE PROUD TO STAND OUT IN THE CROWD, AND TO HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL AWARDS OVER THE YEARS!!
Our Dance Centre was presented with the STUDIO CLASS ACT AWARD which is basically the BEST award we've ever received!! This award is given to a studio that promotes themselves in a professional and tasteful manner when choosing music, choreography and costuming for their dancers, in addition to consistently conducting themselves in a positive manner! We're so proud!
Our dancers have also been recognized with the BACKSTAGE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD on multiple occasions!! This award is presented to the studio whose dancers are supportive of EVERYONE backstage .. not just their own group! They were recognized for conducting themselves in a positive manner and always being ready on time! Congratulations girls! You set a great example for other dancers to follow!!
MOST RECENTLY, our dancers were again recognized for their polished appearance every time they graced the stage! From their hairstyles to their make-up, they were eye-catching and perfectly coiffed. It was noted how our dancers always present themselves in a tasteful and classy fashion both on-stage and off!
